I'm looking for some suggestions.... I really want to take a couple of classes. Something fun, something useful, something creative and most of all, something cheap. I want to get back into knitting. I once was a knitter, albeit for a brief time, and I'd like to pick up my needles once again. Georga also wants to learn how to knit, so I'd love to find a class we could take together. I went by the Yarn Barn last week and was very disappointed by the lack of opportunities (or desire for that matter) that I found there. Apparently they aren't beginner friendly.|
Then there's beading. I'd love to learn some basics of beading and jewelry making. I've been meaning to go by Nomadic Notions, and hopefully I get there tomorrow. Unfortunately, they don't have much info on their website.
Basically, I'm looking to learn something new, something that can be a creative outlet, something I can use to make some cool Christmas presents (can you say multi-tasking?) and maybe even meet some interesting people.
Anyone have any suggestions on where I might look? Are there any other yarn or bead shops that you know of? What about classes for kids?
